  •  Members are the lifeblood of the South Gippsland Conservation Society.
    Their annual subscriptions, tax deductible donations and moral support sustain the Society's work.
  • Membership provides opportunities to get involved in a variety of activities.
    These include working bees to carry out tree planting, weeding, building and maintaining walking tracks and boardwalks; excursions to local wetlands, heath lands, coastal areas and rainforests; and talks by guest speakers on a variety of topical issues.
  • By joining the SGCS you will also become a member of the Australian conservation community.
  • Who can join the SGCS?
    The SGCS welcomes anyone who would like to learn more or share their knowledge about the environment of South Gippsland. (Note: new member applications are subject to approval by the Executive Committee.)
  • How much does it cost?
    A year's membership, which runs from March to February, costs:
    ~ Single $20
    ~ Concession $15 (per person)
    ~ Family $27 (2 or more people)
  • What are the benefits of being a member?
    Membership of the South Gippsland Conservation Society entitles you to:
    ~ attend the monthly meetings of any of the sub-branches
    ~ vote at the annual general meeting
    ~ participate in all activities organised by the SGCS throughout the year.
    ~ receive the SGCS newsletter by email or post, as requested
    ~ get a 10% discount on most items in the Bunurong Environment Centre, Inverloch
    ~ meet like minded people (unlike Kermit, in the Society, it isn't lonely being green!)
    ~ and do something good for your local environment!
  • How do I join?
    Download the SGCS membership application form. Simply print out the form, fill in your application details and send it with your cheque or money order to:
