 Joining the South Gippsland   Conservation Society 

Members are the lifeblood of the South Gippsland Conservation Society. Annual subscriptions support and sustain the Society's work. By joining the SGCS you also become a member of the Australian conservation community.

Membership Benefits

Membership provides opportunities to get involved in a variety of activities such as working bees to carry out tree planting, weeding, building and maintaining walking tracks and boardwalks, as well as excursions to local wetlands, heath lands, coastal areas and rainforests, and talks by guest speakers on a variety of topical issues.

Membership entitles you to:

  • Meet like-minded people and help your local environment

  • Participate in all activities organised by the SGCS 

  • Attend meetings and vote at the annual general meeting

  • Receive regular updates on SGCS activities

  • Get a 5% discount on most items in the Bunurong Environment Centre

Who can join the SGCS?

​

The SGCS welcomes anyone who would like to learn more or share their knowledge about the environment of South Gippsland.

Costs and Application Process

​

Membership runs from July to June. New or rejoining members who join after 1 February 2024 will  pay this rate for a subscription up to 30 June 2025.​

  • $100  Champions for Change 

Help make an impact. Family membership plus the option of being listed on our champions board.​

  • $40 – Family

Two or more people, please provide names for all family members covered by this membership.

  • $30 – Single

  • $22 – Concession

Per person, all valid concessions accepted.​
